I have a question for the history museums out there. A community
member approached me with a whole collection of letters written
during the civil war. The letters are from a family member and detail
all of his experiences during the war. Some of them have not been
preserved very well but could probably be saved and enhanced by a
conservator. Others are in excellent condition considering they have
been kept by family members throughout the years.

Is this something that a museum would be interested in? If so, who
should I have this person contact? Any other suggestions I can pass
along about how this family can best treat/protect this family
treasure?

Thank you,
Jessica Ruskin
