I have to agree with Jim. I fabricate very fragile and extremely high end
acrylic covers & items and ship all over the country. Whenever I come across
a client who refuses to pay for trucking and/or crates, I suggest they send
their own truck to pick up at my shop. It alleviates much responsibility.
Once it's been picked up by the clients own shipper, if something happens,
it's between the two of them. Shipping claims are quite the nightmare!!
Been there, done that!!
