I am not sure about distance learning, but look at www.costumes.org, she has some infomation. also check out the Costume Society of America (www.costumesocietyamerica.com), most programs have memberships with the society.

Subject: Costume History distance learning courses?
>
> Hi all,
With my current research into historical socks, I've been thinking about
doing
graduate work in costume history (because I just can't seem to get
interested
in "practical" degrees. ;) So does anyone know of any costume history
courses
through distance learning? I'd ultimately like ones that lead to a
certificate,
diploma or degree but it's not critical.
Thanks in advance!!
Deb
