Registrar/Collections Manager

Historic Mount Vernon seeks energetic professional to accession curatorial
objects, handle incoming and outgoing loans and exhibitions, build and
maintain inventories, coordinate movement of objects, maintain object files
and other documentation.  Key player in new collections management system
(Re:discovery). Supervises two Museum Technicians and two Collections
Management Assistants. Requires solid knowledge of registrarial and
collections care practices, exhibition experience, and strong computer and
records management skills, particularly automated museum cataloging
programs. Prefer M.A. with 3-5 years experience in museums.  Must be able to
work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work beyond normal hours. Submit
