Sharon,

I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind, but the New York State Museum
has an exhibit called "New York State Girls." It traces the experiences of
girls in New York State.

Visit http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/exhibits/ for more details.

Best,
George

|Dear All,
|
|I would be interested to hear from anyone who is currently or
|has recently
|carried out research within the broad subject area of
|representing childhood
|in museums, in connection to my own research in this area. I
|would like to
|hear of anything relevant, from case studies or theoretical
|work anyone may
|have done, to work on the archaeology of children/childhood or new
|exhibitions/displays on the matter. I am especially
|interested in this matter
|from an archaeological perspective, but any historical or
|social study is
|still of interest to me.
|
|I can be contacted at [log in to unmask] and would be
|most grateful
|for any help or leads given to me.
|
