As much as I hate to disagree with Janice Klein in public OR in private, I
stand by my research.  In preparing the exhibit, I read several books and
articles from the late '80s through the mid '90s, written by both male and
female scientists, who found Gimbutas' interpretations "speculative" at
best, "self-delusion" at worst.

Perhaps this is best debated on an archaeological or anthropological list.
