To believe that I was upset because someone kidded me about my grammar a few
weeks ago! Iąd  have a seizure to a response like that one!! That was so
mean & unnecessary.

Melissa,
I donąt work for a museum, but deal with museums on a regular basis. I've
heard that the salaries can sometimes be less than gratifying.  When asking
for an increase aim high, so that you can meet somewhere in between. If you
are a good employee and have a good relationship with your superiors, it
shouldn't be a problem to get what you want. All this of course, within the
museums budget.
