Pay scales vary greatly depending on the size of the museum. Where I work,
most salaries are still in the low to mid 20s because we are so small and
have such a tight budget. However, larger museums can afford to pay much
more.

I believe that the museum associate organizations all have salary surveys
available. I know that the California Association of Museums just published
their latest salary survey and they list great information with salary
ranges for each position. You should get a hold of that survey if you want
solid numbers.
