Hi,
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but in Michigan we are working with 6 other museums on a group project for the summer of 2003. The theme is 7 museums, 7 cities, 7 exhibitions. Each exhibition is about sports, but the individual museums pick the specific topic. (In Detroit, we are covering Detroit Sports) We have common panels to introduce the exhibit at each institution, a joint brochure, passport and website. We are opening and closing the exhibits at different times, but they will all be open simultaneously for a 3 month span. It has been in the works for a long time, but it is helpful and interesting to work together. I think it is a good thing and worth a try!
