I've worked in several museums and have used three different ways to record information for tours: paper, File Maker Pro and Access

I am wondering what software, if any, are museums using to book tours, rentals etc...  Is there a preferred software specifically for musuems or not?  Is it effective and what are the strengths and weaknesses?  Thanks.
