The General GRE don't change much from year to year but the Subject GRE
do.  Cristin is right, GRE are given by computer (no more pencil and
paper) this makes it a little bit more accessible to take.  The strategy
for taking the Generals is different than the strategy for the Subjects.
 So do whatever you need to learn the learn the strategy (penalized for
wrong answers or not, etc.).  Take the Generals first since they are
required for most masters and doctoral programs.  Then take the Subjects
if you are required to, I had to take both the Biology and Geology
subjects because of the programs I applied to.  The GRE are not as bad
as they sound if you are prepared, they are like the standardized test
we took in grade school or the SAT or ACT for college admittance.  So
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.
