Traveling Exhibitions from A to Z: Coming to a Community Near You
Museums are active participants of our global community and multi-cultural
society. Traveling exhibitions are an excellent way for museums to attract
diverse audiences, advance their mission, and contribute to earned income.
Learn how to launch or host a single traveling exhibtion, or to develop a
traveling exhibition program. Review the nuts-and-bolts of planning,
budgeting, funding, and marketing. Presentations will include culturally
specific and cross-cultural exhibitions, as well as placing exhibitions in
non-traditional venues. The workshop fee includes numerous hand-outs and
resource information. Workshop fee: $35.00
