I installed a set of compactors last year and am about to install a second set
this year for archaeological collections. I've had to use electric due to the
length of my carriages and the weight of the collection. My second set of
carriages are 45 feet long. I haven't had a problem yet with the electric and
have a backup battery pack if I need it. The carriages move really nice. I
use Spacesaver. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.
