Good thought Trent.  I would say that Macs on the whole are better machines.  They will tend to
last longer.  Mine is one of the first generation IMAC's and I have only had good luck with it.
At worst you may have to re-install the Operating System from time to time to clean up things.
The KEY issue is software.  IF you can learn FileMaker (pretty easy) then you are all set for a
collections management database.  Otherwise, I love it all.  Mac OS X is MUCH better than others
out there.

Plus it looks cool....uh oh...PC vs. Mac WAR!
