Hi, all.

I generally ask for a ratio of one adult for every twelve students under
the age of sixteen. I am pretty informal about this, because, on the
one hand, I can usually keep an eye on things, keep the group together
and with their hands off the walls and artworks, and we work in the main
exhibition space so there are others around, and on the other hand, I
have had some teachers apologize for their difficulties in finding
parents and other chaperones to attend. I usually find that it ends up
being about two chaperones for every 25 to 30 students, and I rarely
have a problem.

Hope this helps, Meryl Zwanger
