Hi All,
Our museum is beginning to plan an expansion, and I'm trying to plot out
where everything will go in the new collections storage area. I'm looking at
sliding art screens and one bank of compact storage units. My question is
this: manufacturers of these products don't list standard sizes, and I know
we can get whatever size we need. I'd like get an idea of the sizes of these
kinds of furniture used by other museums. In particular, what height of art
screen works best for you, how much room do you leave between the screens,
and how much room do you allow for opening the compact storage units? I've
never done anything like this before, and I'm trying to make it as workable
as possible for future staff.
Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give me
