The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan, Italy, has a very successful
interdisciplinary program geared (1) to elementary school age children (two
age groups) and (2) elementary school teachers (officially recognized
refresher courses). The course, booklets, children's kits, and tours use our
museum as a point of departure (our decorative arts collection is rich
particularly in Renaissance objects of daily use) to help children learn
historical aspects (travel, dress, games, etc.) and concepts (time,
collecting, conservation, etc.), but do not focus exclusively on our museum.
Currently, the courses and materials are available only in Italian.
You may get an idea of the program by clicking on "Project Kids" (pages in
English) on our home page:

Hope this has been helpful, best regards, Star
