I can't help with the syllabi, but I do have some book suggestions. First,
check the archives of this list-this subject has come up before. Second, see
Ellis Burcaw's Introduction to Museum Work. It is a good basic book. Other
ideas are any of Edward Alexander's books and the Leicester Museum Studies
program (I think) publishes a series of books on all sorts of museum-related
topics. Try the AAM bookstore, globalmuseum, or other such places, if you
want to find these books.
