Hello Museum-L list. I am trying to locate the
following information. I have several online auction
sites available to me and those were of no help. I
have checked auction record books like Davenports, and
I have searched Google. I am actually more interested
in finding out where to find the auction records
records. Thank you in advance. I will truly
appreciate any help. You may respond on or off list.

What is the highest price paid at auction for a 20th
century painting by a living artist? Who is the
artist? Where and when was the auction?
