Dear List:

An author has recently requested the right to reproduce one of our pictures
in a novel being published by a large commercial press next year.  It'll be
reproduced in black and white inside the book at a chapter heading.  Can
anyone tell me what fee you would charge for this, above and beyond the
transparency rental fee?  How did you come up with this number?
