In response to your query about volunteer management software --

Lincoln Park Zoo has just begun to use software called called
VolunteerWorks:  Software for Volunteer Leaders.  It is produced by Red
Ridge Software Co. ( web site is: www.redridge.com).  Upon first review, the
software seemed to allow for entry of basic information on volunteers (name.
address, relevant vaccincations / shots) and track their activities,
training, etc.  They were starting to experiment with it as I was leaving
the institution.

I'd be interested in anyone who has used this and what their experience has
been.

Hello Museum-listers,

I am interested in hearing your experiences (good, bad and ugly) with
volunteer management software.....  I ask not only for myself, but also for
our area community volunteer center.

I combed the last several years of the Museum-l archive,  and the only
products mentioned seem to be the VolunteerWorks software by Red Ridge, and
Access. Are there other products out there?  What do you use? How easy was
it to set up? How much did it cost?
