The Museum of Fine Art in Santa Fe has a wonderful space that allows people to view staff at work in collections area, some open storage for visitiors to investigate, and a staff person to talk to visitors.  It is on their lower level.  My understanding is that this is not all of
collections storage.  This seems ideal - staff knows that they are on view in this space.
I am trained as both a curator and an educator.  I think informing the public about our work as museum professionals is important.
