Hi, all. I decided to de-lurk with a question for the list. I'm a grad
student at an interaction design institute in Northern Italy studying for
interactive exhibit design in museums. Our studies are focused this term on
wearable computers, and I'm thinking of developing a wearable museum device.
Some questions for the list follow.

1. If you work at a museum now, what do you think your visitors would want
in a wearable computer? (e.g. wayfinding, additional information, community
building)

2. What problems does the museum have that might be solved by a wearable
computer? (e.g. flow control, managing groups of kids, visitor use
statistics)

3. What wearable/portable projects already exist? Commercially, custom, or
in development? (e.g. the portable devices at the Experience Music Project,
Flavia Sparachino's Sto(ry)chastics Museum Wearables at MIT, and Phil
Hoffstetter's work at California State University)

Thanks for your feedback.
