I may be very wrong about this, but I was under the impression that
you're not allowed to ask questions about a canidates family/spouce.  I
did a great deal of interviewing in the for-profit sector, though it was
years ago, and asking what an interviewee's wife/husband/partner thought
about a move would have been a no-no.  If that person wasn't offered the
position, they could assume they were denied because in the interview
they answered that their spouce was against the move.  Am I way off with
this?  I'd like to know, as I'm now in a position where I agian will be
doing hiring.
