can't remark on the contents of any of these (other than they're about
new museums), but you've now got something to look for:

New Museums (J. Montaner, Princeton Architectural Press, $45 -
0-910413-84-3)
Foreward Planning: Planning Museums and Galleries (T. Ambrose,
Routledge, $75 - 0-415-06482-1)
Towards a New Museum (Newhouse, Monacelli Press, $45 - 1-885254-60-1)
Museum Design Planning and Building (J. Darragh, Oxford University, $22
- 0-19-506459-3)
Towards the Museum of the Future (R. Miles, Routledge, $45 -
0-415-09498-4)
Museum Architecture (J. Henderson, Rockport, $30 - 1-56496-787-5)
Architecture of Museums (Arco, Watson-Guptill, $39.95 - 0-8230-6131-0)
New Museums (O. Boissiere, ?, 24.95 - 2-7450-0036-5)

hope it helps,
mark

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has recommendations for
books, articles or other publications/sources on recent museum
architecture, built, being built, or as project concepts, here in
North
America and/or Europe. I would particularly appreciate references to
books that consider several recent or contemporary projects
collectively. The recommendations could include books and publications
that discuss present and future theories or concepts for museum
design.

Many thanks.

Peter Gale, Toronto
