Aran,
One of the biggest mistakes that people make in banner design is wind
load Vs size.
Banners take and have to resist an incredible amount of force exerted by
the wind.
Mounting of the banner is critical. If it is mounted up against an
existing wall that is one thing. If it is mounted to a frame that
partridges perpendicular to the wall horizontally and restrained by both
ends the force can equal many pounds per square inch.
I have seen the wind rip the front of a masonry wall off a building
because the pole restraints were not designed correctly. Its no joke
get, a professional engineer involved now or a Lawyer later when it
comes off and someone gets hurt.
