I am not sure if any of you have an answer for me, but I figured I would ask
anyway in hopes that you do.

A friend of mine is considering purchasing an original work directly from
the artist. Essentially it would be done by the artist for my friend. He has
asked me how he can determine the fair market value for the work. I don't
know and thought that I would ask all of you. Any thoughts would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you all for your time and comments.
