University of Leicester, Department of Museum Studies,

learning program.

For UK students, this course leads to the Museums Association Associateship
(Route D)

Postgraduate Certificate in Museum Studies (distance learning)

This new initiative has grown out of the Department’s extensive experience
of delivering both campus based and distance learning courses designed to
meet the needs of museum professionals.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Museum Studies (by distance learning)
provides:

     a flexible and accessible means for museum staff to complete the
Museums Association Associateship award via Route D.

     an opportunity to take the first step on a learning ladder, which
provides progression through the Post-Graduate Diploma, the Masters Degree
and onto the Doctorate of Philosophy, all of which are available by
distance learning.
