For this list reader who is 125 miles from Dallas and 235 from Houston
and who cannot afford the New York Times, I appreciate all the references
that list members give to articles in the New York Times, Washington
Post, USA Today, etc.

Sometimes I cannot open the windows from the list, and sometimes I do not
choose to go to the Web to check the source, but I usually find the info
interesting if not fascinating.

For the same reason I appreciate the Jolly Roger, the references to the
globalmuseum, and other clues to keep me abreast of the wider world.

When I leave my home and the coffee pot to go to my one employee plus
volunteer museum, I can become so bogged down with minute that I forget
there are great ideas out there to tap into. Often I both open and close
my day with this (and other) list in order to gain insight in numerous
ways.

I have thanked Indigo before off line. Today, I want to join the chorus
of several who this past week in thanking the list for giving them a
sense of comardary with the unknown faces who contribute.

For those who shared information before Christmas about scanning glass
negatives, especially KT in NC, I got the grant and will be implementing
the discovery station asap. Thanks to your tips, I am now inquiring into
a more professional (?) model scanner for our purpose.

Thanks to all who share with this list.
