Pamela,

Might I suggest that if one wants to 'be civil and professional '  then one
does not attempt to subvert the quite genuine concerns raised by list
participants into a gender issue, which they clearly were not.

I find this suggestion one of the most abhorrent I have experienced on the
list!  I would be VERY surprised if Gayle interpreted anyone's suggestions
in such a manner

<Also, if  Indigonights was male, I don't think Ton or anyone else would
have attacked her posts.    Think about that.   Somehow single women seem to
be the targets of subtle harassment in too many places these days.>
