Oops, I think there's some confusion.  Toastmasters is
either free or nominal dollars.

Dale Carnegie Leadership was running in the $1,000
price range last time I looked, but it was as long as
a semester and, in my opinion, well worth it!

Let's put it this way.  I found out about it because
they made the lessons available to kids in Junior
Achievement when my daughter was a member.

I went to orientation and was so impressed with it
that I worked an angle to get the company to pay for
it.

Based on observable results for me and upon my
recommendation, my best friend, my boss, and my boss's
husband all took it.
