Dear Gayle,
Itīs a pleasure to meet you. I really appreciate your contributions to the
list. I am the vice-chairman (and past president) of the Paraguayan ICOM
committee (International Council of Museums). We have only few museums
proffessionals in Paraguay, and there is a lot to do in the museum field.
Museums donīt have the commitment of the authorities, and have a very low
budget. Being in the list is a way to be open to ideas and new concepts. I
translate into spanish many of your dayly inputs and resend them to our
members. I know how valuable it is to do something for others. I just want
you to know that your contribution is touching many artists, journalists,
restorers and volunteers in Paraguay, and sometimes in Latin America (I am
also member of the ICOM Latin America)
Thank you so much
Someday we can share a cup of tea

Alejandra Peņa
Vice Ch., ICOM Paraguay
Director
