As far as newspaper preservation is concerned-the following are some
general guidelines to follow.

1. Protect the paper from direct sunlight.

2. Store the paper in a stable environment.  Never store them in an attic
or basement.

3. wrap them in plastic to keep the dust and dirt off.

4. Lable them or provide a brief summary on why they are being saved.  You
need to remember that 20 or 30 years from today these events will become
old history.

5. handle as little as possible to protect the paper from being torn.
