Hello All,

I'd be particularly interested to hear from those who have recently posted
on the topic of reenactments of daily life --

A patron has asked for me to find a recipe or description of a food item
called cush ("coosh"). A local group is planning a heritage day and they
would like to prepare some "historically-appropriate" food. The only
information I have found thus far is that it involves cornmeal, water, and
chicken, and that it was eaten by soldiers during the Civil War. Any leads,
recipes, etc would be appreciated. Thank you.
