Re Pamela's comments about security guards: There was a paper in visitor
studies published in 1987 or 1988 that talked about the importance of using
guards as a resource in museum studies--I think it might have been in the
proceedings of a VSA annual meeting.  There was actually a really neat
article in our local newspaper about the guards at the state's art
museums.  I can get both of these citations for free and e-mail them to the
list if anyone's interested when the library is open tomorrow.

Has anyone ever gotten a notice that they have been kicked from the MUSEUM-
L list due to delivery errors?  This seems really weird.  Is hotmail having
issues? Feel free to respond off list if you know anything.
