Subject: MA research
Date sent: Wed, 25 Jul 2001 16:36:02 +0100

dear madam/sir

I study at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. I'm about to complete my MA in Graphic
Design. One subject that I want to research is the display of artefacts in museums and the
meaning behind that. I would like to find information about the different ways or principles
that certain museums have to follow in order to display their collections. Moreover I'm
interested in the way museums display objects from foreign countries. For example I would
like
to examine the way greeks display Parthenon's marbles in Athens and the way the Greek
marbles
are displayed in the British museum. Could you please inform me with some useful links I
can
visit for my research?

                                               Sincerely yours
                                               Eleni Masselou
