Good morning. Thank you all for your help with my art book dilemma. Perhaps
you could give me some ideas for another item which I cannot take with me
when I move. I have an old treadle-style Singer sewing machine, made in
1916, which I would like to donate to a museum. It belonged to my
grandmother who immigrated to the US from Italy in the early 1900s. Her
first job in New York was as a seamstress (although I don't know for sure if
this was the machine she used for work). In any event, the machine has
sentimental value to me and I would love to see it get a good home. It's in
very good condition and I can send a picture if any of you would like to see
it. I would be happy to deliver it to anywhere in NJ or the NY metropolitan
area. Please reply off list. Thanks! Mary
