Late Tuesday, I learned there had been a death in my
extended family, and the blues has kept me away from
reading late Wednesday's or all day Thursday's mail.
However, I have just checked my bulk mail folder, and
I'm afraid the list has repeatedly been infected by
the latest nasty virus.
What happens is I'm getting mail from quite a few
listers that has no text to go with the note. The key
to know that it's the virus is that the return of
address of the purported sender is preceded by an
underscore. If I were infected, the notes by me would
start with [log in to unmask]
I urge you to update your virus protections and run a
good scan. It's really a pain in the tail to have to
spend this much time protecting oneself against virii,
but the culprits are getting ever increasingly more
onerus.
