Summary: IMLS is gearing up for its October 15, 2002
Conservation Project Support grant application
deadline. The Agency wants to be sure that museums
take full advantage of this source of funding to care
for collections. Museums are eligible to compete for
about $2.3 million that can be used to conduct
condition surveys of collections, make environmental
improvements, treat collections, perform original
research in conservation, or train your staff
in practical conservation techniques.
