I am designing a new guide training program to start this fall and am
looking for advice on topics and names of good speakers you may have heard.
We know lots of people available to speak relative to our interpretive
themes, but I need a few sessions that are not straight history lessons. I
would need speakers local to the Washington, DC area to address a small
group (20 or fewer). Of course, someone who would speak for free would
always be my preference! Any ideas for good topics? Any contacts I can
call? Maybe somebody can direct me to a good book about structuring such a
program.
