Our legal and human resources staff suddenly realized that no one in the City system has ever asked volunteers to sign a waiver of liability (Indemnification and Release Agreement).  We use lots of volunteers.  The waiver provided to us is written in legalese and is clear but harsh.  Does anyone have an effective waiver which sounds nice that they'd be willing to share?
