Program Director Position at the Jewish Museum of Maryland
The Jewish Museum of Maryland, a dynamic, growing museum of regional Jewish
history and culture, seeks a creative and enthusiastic Program Director to
conceptualize, organize, and manage the Museum's full range of public
programs and special events.  The Program Director will work with the
education and curatorial departments to create inventive programs and
evnets based on the Museum's exhibits, collections, historic sites, core
themes, and mission.  The Program Director will also market the Museum and
its programs, will work with designers to create promotional materials, and
will help to connect the Museum to its many constituencies.
Candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, writing and speaking
skills, and work well with the public.  Press and media experience and
familiarity with Baltimore desired.  Graduate degree in either Jewish
Studies, Museum Studies, Education, or a related field desired plus three
to five years relevant professional experience.  This is a full-time
position with occasional Sunday and evening hours.  We offer a competitive
salary with benefits and a collegial and team-oriented work environment.
