I have had success using a hand held personal type steamer on wrinkled
textiles. Use distilled water in the steamer (some steamers say to use
only tap water, so you'll want to find one that uses distilled). I try
to use the steamer only on cottons and sometimes to touch up wool
suits, but you'll have to be careful using it on silks and some
synthetics because you can end up with water spots. Hold the steamer
at least 5-6" from the surface of the garment. I would stay away from
using an iron because it can be hard to keep the heat level low enough
     to not harm the textile.

     Hope this helps,
