I didn't see the exhibit, but there was a really interesting article about
an exhibit on railroad workers & their families (I think) in the Routledge
Oral History Reader; also one about video oral history. That's a good book
to have generally if you plan to do oral history work. You might also
contact the Oral History Association for ideas; they have a webpage
somewhere on Dickinson College's server. I did an oral history class last
semester and I can send you more titles and more info on that book if you'll
contact me off-list--however, my computer has crashed so I am working
exclusively from computer labs and have lost my useful Internet bookmarks
and e-mails concerning such. If you check the archives of the AMIA-L
listserv (hosted by Univ of KY), you should find a discussion about oral
history on videotape a few months back.
