Contact Nancy Sherbert (Curator of Photographs) here at the Kansas State Historical Society (785.272.8681) and ask about Hyer Boot photos. 

Shop opened in Olathe ca. 1880 and lasted almost 100 years!  Some good photos of shop interior/workers/rechniques.
