Thank you to all who responded to my request about raffles...
I guess Texas if pretty easy on this type of fundraising...for those of you
in Texas...I checked with the AG's office and 501c3 groups, schools,
hospitals, and volunteer fire departments can hold two raffles per year as
long as the prize amounts do not total over $50,000 (no problem for us!)...a
few other little details about what has to be printed on the tickets, but
otherwise no great restraints or requirements, no permits needed.

Thanks for pointing out the direction to check!
Anybody want to buy a raffle ticket? LOL
