Fortunatly for Past Perfect users, the web database is generated from selected fields of the collections records (user-
defined) and saved as a series of HTML files. In our case, the web pages reside on the University Web server, which is
not connected to our file server, where the original database resides (that machine has no internet access, although it
could be broken into from the campus network, but that's a different security concern). Whatever system you use for
internet access to collections, it is always good to create a seperate database which does not contain any confidential
information, and place it on a seperate server.
