Development Director

The Thornton W. Burgess Society, an environmental education organization
located in Sandwich on Cape Cod, MA., seeks an experienced professional to
manage all development functions. Reporting to the Executive Director, the
Development Director will be responsible for fund raising, grant writing,
membership, managing donor relations, capital projects, annual appeal,
major gift and endowment programs. The ideal candidate will have at least
five years experience working in a development office, excellent written
and oral communication skills and have a love of nature and the
