The Maryland Historical Society seeks an experienced full-time exhibition
curator, working with a team, to develop a permanent exhibition of Maryland
history.  Specific responsibilities include concept development, content and
object research, outline and script writing, development and administration
of the academic advisory committee and the project’s paper and electronic
files.  GC will work closely with historical, design, and media developers.
  Position requires MA or comparable experience in American History
(Chesapeake regional history preferred), knowledge of registrarial
techniques, excellent writing, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational
skills, and proven ability to present history concepts in an exhibition
format.  Computer proficiency in MS Office, Windows environment. Position to
start 4.1.2001, through 2004.   Send resume and cover letter by February 15
