We've been asked to look at delivering some training/skills development
workshops for museums, focussing on the use of digital media and online
technology in museum management and promotion, and particularly things like
use of online collection databases; publication of information; tourism
promotion etc. The idea is to boost the knowledge and skills of museum staff
(mostly small organisations) to explore and utilise the technology. Most are
likely to already have computerised their collections, but will not have
taken those collections online etc.

I'd be interested if anyone has delivered such training in recent times, and
what materials might exist to avoid re-inventing the wheel.
